New target frame specification released 09/02/09 - See Below.

Because of the continued abuse to the wooden target frames, the board decided to discontinue furnishing frames as of March 31, 2008.  After that date the members are required to bring their own target frames when they come to the range. Contact one of the Board members if you are not able to build your own frames or need help finding a source to purchase frames.

Target Frames must be built or purchased per these specifications effective October 1, 2009.  After that date unapproved target frames will not be permitted at the facility and members using unapproved target frames will be asked to leave.  These frames may be used in either the club provided target holders or member made holders provided that the target in the holder meets the minimum and maximum height requirements indicated on this specification.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE ANY BULLET YOU FIRE IMPACTS THE BERM!
YOU MUST SET YOUR TARGET FRAME ACCORDINGLY!

The Board has approved the use of clay and chalk targets on both the rifle range and the Pistol/Rimfire Range.  These type of targets must be placed on the berm no higher than 6 feet.  These targets may also be held in place by one of the various commercially available frames made of plastic or a home built frame can be used as long as it is constructed of wood or plastic and does not exceed the dimensions set forth by the target frame policy above and is placed so that all bullets hit the berm.
